What follows is a posting to the cyberdog.general newsgroup by Steve Roussey, of Kantara Development. Kantara looks like it is moving forward with development on the Cyberdog web browser. So much for being a "no longer updated" application...

Just because Netscape and IE have had updates lately - don't feel bad. Your day is coming...

Not too many cosmetic changes. The notable one is the horizontal scroll bar at the bottom of the browser window. Opinions will vary on this one. The other item of note is the contextual menu. This one should have pretty universal appeal. Under the hood, Steve has mentioned updated graphics support (for progressive graphics) and progressive display of pages.
This is good news indeed. Kantara has picked up the ball and is running with it. Despite the hurdles to be overcome, it's an exciting prospect.
Based on Steve's last posting to the cyberdog.general newsgroup, Blake, as this update/replacement part is being called, should be available, at least in beta version, fairly soon.
